
We offer many different support groups in order to reach out and provide support to as many people as possible.

This support group has 2 components, one for the caregivers and one for people with early stage memory loss.

Offered monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the ASW office 1308 Meador Avenue, Suite C1, Bellingham, WA 98229, from 10am to 12pm (walk-ins are welcome).

An early memory loss class for individuals affected by dementia related diseases and their care partners is offered once a year as a 9 week class.

These are intended only for the care partners of people who are affected by Alzheimer's or other dementia related diseases. Those diagnosed should not attend these groups.

We provide ongoing support groups and educational classes, such as Staying Connected, which provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for individuals diagnosed with a dementia related diseases. Support groups for care partners are also held monthly.

We offer conferences and workshops intended for care partners and those who serve people affected by dementia related diseases. Continuing education credits are available for healthcare professionals.

ASW is a part of the Find Me Safe Network, which is a transmitter safety bracelet program, also known in some areas as Project Lifesaver. We work closely with the Whatcom County Sheriff's Department and search and rescue to facilitate this program.
